Extend “Mint from Wikidata” Shows

We started sketching transformation rules in this spreadsheet tab.

There will be three sets of transformation rules:

1. Basic transformation rules for simple object and data (i.e. strings) properties.
2. Transformation rules for contribution role properties, where the nature of the contribution is semantically defined by the property itself (ex. director (P57)) (and sometimes by optional qualifiers).
3. A distinct transformation rule for the contributor to the creative work (P767) property, where the exact nature of the contribution is defined only by qualifier statements.

Additional notes:

• The set of transformation rules to apply is defined in column A.
• The transformation rules for groups 2 and 3 are detailed in columns E:H.
• In group 2, regarding the Role:additionalType rule (column F), rather than proposing a discreet Wikidata item for each property, we are proposing to programmatically retrieve the value stated with Wikidata item of this property (P1629).
  • You do not need to import Wikidata labels for wdt:P1629 objects. Just import (and display in Nebula) the plain QID. Example: schema:additionalType wd:Q3455803.
  • @GaryMan1968 will verify that this property is present for each group 2 property and that there is a single value for each one. If he stumbles upon an array of values, he will notify you.
• Wikidata qualifiers (columns G and H) will often be incomplete, even for wdt:P767, where the "object of statement has role" (P3831) should theoretically be required. Make sure that these properties are optional in your transformation rules.

Our test Wikidata item for this work batch will be Pisuwin (Q136505799).

We should attempt to reconcile genre (P136) value labels against our new Artsdata Genre vocabulary. This could be done either during the main transformation workflow or in a subsequent transformation workflow.
