README nor Issues mentions a TimeMachine usage case for backing up a Linux/GNU system drive

Anyone successfully used it to backup Linux system drive, which is actively being used? If there is a safe way to do it, are there any additional command parameters needed beside:

`timemachine /source/dir user@host:target/dir --port 22 --compress`

Maybe it would be better to utilize LVM snapshots, but I have not yet figured out how to do it simply.
