No panel icon in Linux Mint

Running ModernDeck in Linux Mint 20.3, Cinnamon 5.2.7, there is no panel icon.

I'm not sure if related, but I think these two issues should be separate. Issue #323 refers to the system tray icon in the bottom corner, while this one deals with the main panel (equivalent to the taskbar in Windows). In fact, I was going to go add some screenshots to #323 when I got a chance. Will do so now. :)
