Error Messages #1
Description
It would be great if there were more helpful error messages on the New Record creation. I am just getting a gack style error if I enter the wrong ID as a RecordTypeID on creation of a new record, or leave a lookup value blank, or even type the Object Name incorrectly.
The error I get is
Unfortunately, there was a problem. Please try again. If the problem continues, get in touch with your administrator with the error ID shown here and any other related details.

Once I know what the error is I can fix it, but it just took hours to work out what it was.
I also had "unable to parse" errors on dates that were not formatted correctly (YYYY-MM-DD) and currency that was sent with the $. If at all possible, it would be great to identify where in the text string the error was occurring.
