Return the current branch

I'm thinking of having this plugin to report the current branch through some kind of API to return JSON. So, it would be more accurate to report back when people asking about the status of staging. The duck can report back the current branch and who's working on the branch by checking with Github.

Why not just make it a feature of staging to see if anyone is using it, instead of adding the complexity of a Slack bot?

The bot is going to call an API which we can deploy a small app in staging. But how are we going to know if someone is using it as the person doesn't have to login to use it?
