How can I access the postMessage and onmessage functionality of the a given web worker with this package?

This implementation appears to wrap the onmessage event on the worker such that each function call from the client side is sending a message to the worker which in turn invokes the function defined in the workers directory. The result of the function is then returned to the client through a postMessage.

That means that while you can send a message to the client using postMessage, you cannot receive messages from the client within the function.

Each call of the function is essentially an onmessage call, so there's nothing to add. The function does act as a singleton, so if you wanted to keep state beyond a single function call you could reference global state. The only limitation is that you can only return one result (ie postMessage) for each function call.
