Feature Request
Add Cmd+Option+← / Cmd+Option+→ to switch between open task tabs in the top tab bar — moving to the task physically on the left/right (not MRU/history order).
This is the standard macOS convention used by Chrome, Safari, Arc, Slack, VS Code, Terminal, etc. Muscle memory.
Scope
This is specifically about the top-level task tab bar (the horizontal row of open tasks at the top of the window) — not the terminal tab groups inside a task.
Behavior
Cmd+Option+← → switch to task on the left
Cmd+Option+→ → switch to task on the right
- Wrap around at the edges (leftmost +
← → rightmost)
Why
With many tasks open in the top bar, the only way to switch is clicking. With muscle memory from every other macOS app, hitting Cmd+Option+←/→ to flip between adjacent tasks would be a huge quality-of-life win.
