Value disappears after save if value is not in the Limit Resources result

Value disappears after save if value is not in the Limit Resources result.

Steps to recreate:

1. Put a number smaller than the resources available in field->properties->Limit Resources
2. Use the field in a resource/content blocks.
3. Choose a resource that isn't showing in the "select options" by searching for it.
4. Save the resource
5. Refresh resource-page and the value is gone.
