Stuck in loop when "Cloning into bare repository"

Hi there,

I have one project/server that just wont deploy, all other are one fine. I have tried everything

• new ssh key
• new user
• new dir
• verbose
• archive | clone
• there is no permission issues

but at the end it just keep doing this in loop

Try to use "deploy keys".

It can connect to the GitLab, i can verify with ssh git@REPOURL etc.. it just keeps checking it over and overt..

Just a late note about this issue.

In version 6, I could specify the branch in the repository variable – e.g. .../my-repo.git --branch dev. If you do this in version 7 you hit an infinite loop because the repository variable (now including the --branch option) never matches the remote repository which is checked by deploy:update_code, like so:

    }

Remove the branch option from your repository and use set("branch", "dev"); instead.
