Set Default parameter to user defined

Hi, great tool...thanks for the work around, but how can we set the "Input JSON" default value to be blank so that we can define the parameters dynamically? We don't want to pre-populate/hardcode the json. Thanks!

Description: A JSON representation of the state of the map to be exported as it appears in the web application. See the WebMap specification in the ArcGIS Help to understand how this text should be formatted. The ArcGIS web APIs (for JavaScript, Flex, Silverlight, etc.) allow developers to easily get this JSON string from the map.

The default value is specified upon publishing the tool. The standard Export Web Map tool can be run without any input JSON, so you can publish it with a blank default value. That ability isn't currently built-in to my tool. I thought about building this in, but didn't really see a point because web application APIs are going to overwrite the existing value (whether that be blank or populated) with new JSON anyway. The default value only stays if the application executing the Print task doesn't overwrite it with the appropriate JSON. In other words, for most cases, it doesn't matter whether the default value is blank or contains JSON; applications are going to overwrite it anyway when using the service. The parameter is still dynamic even though it has a default value. Notice that you can edit/modify the text from REST just prior to submitting the task.

However, if you can provide me a use-case/scenario where the default value must be blank, I'll be happy to look into building that into the logic.
