Question: How .ch8 files are made?

Thanks for the collection. I am curious as to how these .ch8 files are made.

They were made manually in a binary editor because that's how they did things in 70s. Nowadays, you can use Octo, which is a bit friendlier programming language (and IDE for it) that compiles into ch8:
