In afwall you can have profiles which can have different rules for connectivity.
For example,
I want normal operation mode - which allows access to apps which I normally use
Then I can have another profile set to social mode - this allows internet access to selected social apps (which are set to disabled on normal mode)
In AFwall it uses "profiles" which you can set all apps connectivity, and when you switch to another profile it applies the rules of that particular one.
So users which only want to allow access to internet to apps at a particular time just switch to that profile and switch back to normal when done
