Compatibility with the android NDK r8e (64-bit)

The ndk doesn't compile because O_DSYNC is missing. I am trying to find out what it should be replaced with.

Check out line 36 of android.h. It's an issue with Android's horrible bionic C library not following standard BSD or Linux conventions. If you un-comment line 36 of android.h and compile it should be fine. I had to comment it out because this actually causes errors because the AOSPC C library in Android 4.2.1 defined O_DSYNC. You should be fine with the NDK (hopefully).

Thanks. You could change it to:
#ifndef O_DSYNC
#define O_DSYNC O_SYNC
#endif

if you wanted the compiler to take care of adding or removing that line for you.

vertago1, I might just do that. I wasn't expecting things to change so oddly between versions. :-/
