Background
This library was created in September 2023 to bring Salesforce Diagramming Framework shapes to draw.io. Shortly after, draw.io added a native Salesforce shape library with very similar coverage — including icons, cards, headers, and relationship connectors.
What draw.io's native library now covers
Draw.io's built-in Salesforce shapes now include:
- 48 icons (Product, Industry, Platform) with style variants
- Card components (7 variants)
- Header templates (2 variants)
- Relationship connectors (4 styles)
You can enable them via More Shapes → Software → Salesforce.
What this library still uniquely provides
- Document Types (SLDS) — file type icons (PDF, Excel, PPT, etc.)
- Salesforce Color Palette — brand colors from Lightning Design System
- Predefined Styles — Based on Salesforce Design Tokens
However, I believe these remaining features alone may not provide enough value to justify maintaining this library separately.
Your feedback
Before deciding whether to archive this repository, I'd love to hear from you:
- Do you still actively use this library? If so, which shapes or features?
- Would you benefit from the remaining unique features being contributed to draw.io's built-in library?
- Any other feedback or suggestions?
If there's no strong reason to keep this library separate, I plan to archive it and request this additions into draw.io.
