Initiative roll modifier does not match the character's DEX modifier (+1 shown vs +2 expected). Engine initiative-computation bug — part of the mechanical gate engine-audit (also: Finesse AC, OA-on-disengage, pre-combat guards — see #696/#701 cluster). Add a focused engine test asserting initiative modifier == DEX modifier (+ class/feat bonuses). Sprint 3 (mechanical).

The chronicle-hygiene fix is PR #740 (internal kind-labels + scaffolding + You— prefix). NOTE: PR #738 (the initiative fix) mis-referenced #733 and auto-closed this — the correct fix (#740) is merged, so leaving closed. (Ledger note: the v1.0.4-rc1 fix PRs cross-referenced issue numbers due to a filing-array off-by-one; the CODE fixes are all correct.)
