I'm glad you all like Electrobun so much, but I'm actually trying to build something important here.
Electrobun is 10% of the vision. It's part of the foundation.
I have very little bandwidth and want to use it effectively when it comes to making the best desktop app runtime on the planet.
I don't have time to:
- Review vibe coded ai slop PRs
- Take your half baked ideas over the finish line
- Explain the nuance of how your implementation solves for x and y but not z
- Wait for you to find time to respond to feedback
- Bring the flock up to speed
- Incorporate your vision or your ideas in real time
Helpful things you can do:
- Open Github Issues for bugs, features, your hopes, and your dreams for the project
- Engage in discussion with each other in Github Issues, upvote things you want
- Help each other in our Community Discord, Slack, etc.
- Understand there's no guarantee I will have time to respond
- Have patience, be kind to each other.
- Tweet about what you're actually building with Electrobun
- Fork the repo and try cool things. Submit PRs to express ideas.
Things you can expect from me:
- I will ruthlessly close PRs that take more bandwidth to review than not without explanation.
- I may engage with good ideas in Github issues/PRs/Discord/Twitter/etc.
- High focus and optimizing for limiting context switching
