500 Error on preview button for a post

Description

Clicking the preview button of any post works fine but logs show a 500 Error

Steps to reproduce

1. Navigate to posts /_emdash/admin/content/posts
2. Click on any post
3. Click on the preview button

Could you share the full server-side error that accompanies this 500? The status line alone (POST /_emdash/api/content/posts/.../preview-url 500) doesn't tell us whether this is a missing previewUrl config, a permissions check, or something deeper.

Useful to attach:

• Full stack trace from the server log
• Which collection/post you tried to preview
• Whether you have a previewUrl configured in live.config.ts

Triage: closing as stale — awaiting the requested error details since April with no follow-up, and this was reported against emdash 0.0.3.

The preview flow has been reworked several times since (preview tokens, per-collection url_pattern support in preview URLs via #1745, cache opt-outs for preview routes). The specific 500 on POST .../preview-url from 0.0.x most commonly meant no preview URL was configured for the collection.

If anyone still sees a 500 from the preview button on a current release, please open a fresh issue with the server-side stack trace and your collection's preview configuration.
