Lots of temporary files committed to Repo

Temporary files should be added to local git ignore configuration.

The files ending in ~ should not be committed to the repo and the existing temporary files should be removed.

I've deleted the temporary files ending in ~ - can we mark this as closed, or is there something else that needs to be done?

Got it. Think I got them all now.

Sorry, I did everything with GEdit and Ubuntu saved all files. I didn't delete them before uploading. If there are still some I will clean them later

@alecrimi it is better to submit Pull Requests, and then all commits can be reviewed, allowing these things to be caught & helps in knowledge transfer to the wider team as work is done

Also to your local git ignore you could add the wild card *~
