Current Benchmark Status

Short term

These tasks should be done this week:

• Refactor test_account_access to use CREATE2 contracts
  • merge EELS PR refactor(test-benchmark): update test_account_access, add keccak256 overhead scenario ethereum/execution-specs#2947
  • update state-actor PR: feat(templates): five --spec templates for bloatnet repricing prestate ethereum/state-actor#76
  • TBD: payload generation might wait until state-actor goes live

Mid term

Plan to finish by the next 1-2 weeks

Saw the mention on ethereum/state-actor#76, I just pushed some extra changes to that one. Please dont directly push to that PR 😄 👍

Likely want to include the new benchmark features of these specific contracts, I think we should do that on a different PR on top of this one. The current PR targets the current benchmarks, the other PRs can add new code patterns there (although I think that the code pattern we want is in most cases already in the PR, except the distinct contracts of maximum size (it has JUMPDEST max size unique contract as template))
