You must first log in as the administrator user you created at the end of the installation process. Proceed to exponentcms/logmein.php to display the log in page. After logging in, you will see the 'System' or Exponent Toolbar. This will allow you to Manage Pages, or change the Site Configuration. It will also expose/display the menus or 'chrome' which provides access to add/remove/edit modules on the pages.

When I log in as an administrator, the system displays a page like this.

I reinstalled the software and when I got to the last step of the installation, I logged in as an administrator and selected the last option.

However, after logging in, the interface is blank, and I can't find the 'System' or Exponent Toolbar you mentioned. What's going on? Could you please explain it again?

Sorry I had not responded earlier. What web server are you running? Apache? What version of PHP is your server running? What database server are you running and which version?
