Description
When watching videos on TikTok, the video playback suddenly freezes or stops completely whenever Hover Zoom+ is enabled. Disabling the extension instantly restores video playback.
I tried adding tiktok.com to the Whitelist Mode in the extension’s settings, but this did not solve the issue — the video still gets blocked.
⸻
Steps to Reproduce
1. Open TikTok in Chrome (https://www.tiktok.com).
2. Start watching any video.
3. Ensure Hover Zoom+ is enabled.
4. Observe that the video freezes or stops playing.
5. Disable Hover Zoom+ → the video resumes normally.
⸻
Expected Behavior
TikTok videos should play smoothly when Hover Zoom+ is active, or the Whitelist should correctly exclude the site.
⸻
Actual Behavior
Video playback freezes and cannot continue until the extension is disabled.
⸻
Additional Notes
• The issue appeared after updating to version 1.1.7.
• Previous versions didn’t have this problem.
• Whitelist mode appears non-functional for TikTok.
⸻
Possible Cause
Hover Zoom+ might be interfering with TikTok’s video overlay or lazy-loading system.
⸻
Workaround
Currently, the only workaround is to disable the extension while browsing TikTok.

- Make sure Hover Zoom+ (version 1.1.7) is enabled.
- The video will freeze or stop playing.
- Disable Hover Zoom+ → the video immediately resumes.
- Try adding tiktok.com to Whitelist Mode → issue persists.
Expected behavior
TikTok videos should play normally while Hover Zoom+ is enabled.
Whitelist Mode should exclude TikTok and prevent interference with video playback.
