🚀 Feature Request: Review and update Unit tests

Check Unit tests to ensure they're properly running. Additionally, since Connect now has a minimum PHP v8.0 requirement, tests should reflect this.

The test matrix in that workflow has PHP versions all the way back to 7.4, yet our requirements are for 8.0+, which means some of those tests should be failing. The fact that they're not is a bit concerning.
