I have just stumbled on this project, and I am extremely excited to try it out. I have had a Waveshare E-Ink display sitting around for years because I didn't get it working, but I have been wanting to build such a display for years now.
I have gotten the idea that while waiting for the feature to tile multiple plugins, what about a feature which would allow you to connect a button to some GPIO pin, which enables the user to cycle between different plugins? It would be a great temporary solution while you work on tiling different plugins (since I think it should be easier/quicker to implement), and even when you do implement that, it could allow for a much more powerful device using much smaller displays.
I hope this is the appropriate place to make such a feature request, and am looking forward to try this project. Thanks for everything, it looks great so far!
