Description of problem
The Rosetta Format Library has format classifications. At least for now, these are largely independent of PRONOM and so may be an interesting source of comparison.
This came up at the PRONOM monthly, and it looks like there is a greater interest proposed by the team to perhaps talk to other registry folk around what to do around format classifications. Which would be cool!
