When opening an EXE from a file manager can you supply arguments?

I'm using a steam deck and opening an .exe file with the "Open with protontricks" option. The opening of the exe works great, but with the software I'm using I need to be able to configure the arguments passed to the exe. Is there a known way to supply additional arguments when using this option or a way to use the protontricks-launch command when using the flatpak version or is this not currently possible? Thanks

flatpak run --command=protontricks-launch com.github.Matoking.protontricks <PATH TO EXE>

should work as long as the Protontricks Flatpak has access to the path in the sandbox. The command won't automatically grant access. The lengthier command that uses file forwarding to automatically grant access for the command is:

flatpak run --file-forwarding --command=protontricks-launch com.github.Matoking.protontricks @@ <PATH TO EXE> @@

This verbose format is what Flatpak uses under the hood; you can look up the .desktop file under ~/.local/share/flatpak/exports/share/applications/com.github.Matoking.protontricks-launch.desktop (might be located elsewhere) to check this.
