Portfolio page not displaying posts

I've setup the layouts in _layouts and also created a portfolio page that uses the _portfolio layout. I've then added two test projects in _projects but nothing is appearing on my portfolio page. Does this plugin still work, or am i missing something?

@vdecree as you can see from the commit log, it's been a few years since this was touched. Not sure of it's current compatibility.

However, you can see an example of how we use the plugins at https://github.com/flatterline/flatterline.com - Maybe that will provide some clues about what is going wrong.

@vdecree I also "had problems" with it at first, but then realized that GitHub pages wont run the plugins, they will only work correctly IF your only doing local jekyll and uploading. that being said works for me :)

Big props to @curtis and the @flatterline team for the plugin set.

Yeh big thanks to you guys, this is now working for me. A little off my original question. But you can access the projects outside of the portfolio page? If i needed a series of links to projects on the homepage, would i need to extend the functions within the plugin?

@vdecree, yes, if you need to dynamically retrieve a list of the projects and output them on the home page, try extending the plugin. Perhaps you could create a Liquid::Tag for what you need to do? Check out https://github.com/flatterline/jekyll-plugins/blob/master/team.rb for an example of what we did for authors.

Although, for the Flatterline site, we just hand-selected a few portfolio examples for the home page ;)

Hey guys, I know this has been a long time. @vdecree did you happen to know how to get it to work, I can't seem to get this plugin to work. I am however using yeoman jekyll, so maybe thats the issue..

Any help will be appreciated!
