FAQ

Is this a personality test?

No. Persona Generator is not a personality test or psychometric instrument.

Does it analyze real people?

No. The public package is for fictional, low-stakes scenarios only.

Are personas prebuilt?

No. The design is on-demand generation, not a static persona catalog.

Why use academic constructs?

They provide bounded vocabulary and caution. They are not scores, measurements, proof, or validation. See Academic Boundaries and Source Notes.

Must personas be stored?

No. Personas are ephemeral by default.

What is Persona Pack v0.1?

Persona Pack v0.1 is an optional Markdown handoff format for one selected fictional persona.

Is a panel required?

No. Panel rehearsal is optional and should be used only after manual review when the task explicitly asks for synthesis.

Does Persona Generator make final decisions?

No. Human judgment remains final.

Can it be used for hiring, medical, legal, credit, insurance, surveillance, or education placement?

No.

Does it require an app or database?

No. It is Markdown-first and local-first.

Which file should an AI agent read first?

Read ../AI_DISCOVERY.md, then follow the smallest task-specific path.

Is llms.txt guaranteed to be supported?

No. It is experimental navigation metadata only, not an official GitHub standard and not guaranteed to be read by crawlers or models.

What does public alpha mean?

It means the repository is an early protocol distribution for technical review and low-stakes fictional use. It is licensed under Apache-2.0 and intentionally avoids claims of broad reliability, psychometric validity, real-person readiness, or high-stakes suitability.
