Update doesnt work

Instead of an update number it shows a long XML text , and updating doesnt work at all, just crashes.

Feb 2021 and still not fixed. Update does nothing but generate an error.

Same, "The syntax of the command is incorrect" and the joycons get stuck vibrating. Only my left joycon delivers input.
