New release

I tried to use the 1.0.1 version in my project as Gradle dependency. I run into problems. I have build it myself and included the change from the dev branch (52bb094) and that resolved my problem. I have now included the source in my project (https://github.com/peerke/OutdoorPuzzleGame), but I would rather change it back to a released Gradle dependency.

Is it possible that you release a new version with that change?

I would be happy to include the change in a new release, but I need to know what problem solves. Can you give me more details about it?

Without the change I get the following crash in my application:

I'm afraid I will need more than that. There are two possible situations:

• You understand why addView works while addViewInLayout don't and you can explain the rationale behind that bug that you're having.
• You don't understand why addView works while addViewInLayout don't. In that case I have to make sure to investigate on that issue, so I will need you to provide a very simple example (if you want, you can modify the sample project in this very repository) that shows how that bug is reproducible.

Unfortunately the stacktrace alone without any context doesn't make it easy to see why the crash is happening/

I don't understand why addView works. I didn't investigate anything. I just wanted to use your library and figured out that the change fixed the problem I had. Because you already submitted the change to your dev-branch I assumed that you already figured out that it was solving something.

If I have some spare time, I will try to reproduce the problem with your sample project.

I had the same issue, but was able to fix it by changing the view inflate code in my adapter.

The Exception occured when I was inflating the item view using:

View v = inflater.inflate(R.layout.list_item, null);

Changing this to

View v = inflater.inflate(R.layout.list_item, parent, false);

fixed the exception.

Hit the same issue, included master branch in source but applied this commit 52bb094 as @Peerke mentioned, problem solved.

Changing this to

View v = inflater.inflate(R.layout.list_item, parent, false);”
but ,sometimes it cause java.lang.StackOverflowError by this way.

I'm going to remove LinearListView from my project, because this issue doesn't get resolved.
