just fyi uglymol was deprecated in favor of Gemmimol
a new webGL molecular viewer project called gemmimol it's a minimalistic project with a small typescript 6 code base that should be easy to understand and experiment with. at the same time it's fast and mostly correct, handles symmetry, mmCIF, MTZ,and uses CIF files for bonds, instead of guessing bonds from distanceslike UglyMol
