I previously used the "homeassistant-helios" integration by asev in my Home Assistant. Although it hasn’t been updated for three years, it worked fine until I upgraded my HA Core in early January.
As an alternative, I tried "homeassistant-easycontrols" by laszlojakab, but I wasn’t satisfied with the configuration options. So, I wanted to test your "EasyControls3_homeassistant" integration.
Unfortunately, when entering the IP address of my Helios KWL EC 300W L, I only get the error message "unknown".
These are the steps I followed:
Downloaded the "EasyControls3_homeassistant" folder from GitHub
Copied it 1:1 into "custom_components"
Restarted Home Assistant
Made sure that Modbus is enabled on the Helios KWL EC 300W L
Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this issue or which logs I should check for troubleshooting?

ich hatte in meinem Home Assistant bisher die Integration "homeassistant-helios" von asev genutzt, die zwar seit drei Jahren nicht mehr aktualisiert wurde, aber bis zu meinem HA Core-Upgrade Anfang Januar problemlos funktionierte.
Als Alternative habe ich anschließend "homeassistant-easycontrols" von laszlojakab ausprobiert, war jedoch mit den Einstellmöglichkeiten nicht zufrieden. Daher wollte ich nun eure Integration "EasyControls3_homeassistant" testen.
Leider bekomme ich beim Eintragen der IP-Adresse meines Helios KWL EC 300W L nur die Fehlermeldung "unknown".
Folgende Schritte habe ich durchgeführt:
Über GitHub den Ordner "EasyControls3_homeassistant" heruntergeladen
Diesen 1:1 in "custom_components" kopiert
Home Assistant neu gestartet
Sicher gestellt, dass im Helios KWL EC 300W L Modbus aktiviert ist
Hat jemand eine Idee, woran das Problem liegen könnte oder welche Logs ich mir zur Fehleranalyse anschauen sollte?
