Goal

GF16 dot4 + TF3-9 ternary + sparse-MAC γ-gate produce correct results on Llama-1B BitNet benchmark vectors.

  • G-141 — GoldenFloat16 6:9 split PSNR ≥ FP16 + 12% at equal decoder area
  • G-142 — TernaryFloat9 3:5 matmul via canon 0x47C0 in ≤4 cycles, BPB ≤ 2.0
  • G-143 — sparse-MAC γ-skip → effective TOPS/W ≥ 9000 on 70B BitNet
  • G-133 — opcode 0xD9 TRINITY_LOSS (HW φ-prior contrastive loss)
  • G-134 — sparse zero-skip MAC (40% at φ⁻²)
  • G-136 — opcode 0xD8 PELLIS_ALPHA (α⁻¹ physics ROM)
  • G-140 — Wallace-tree adder critical path −30%, 260 MHz

CI workflow

compute-ready.yml — runs all 7 gates against pinned BitNet checkpoint.

Acceptance

  • G-141 PSNR delta ≥ 12% on ImageNet sample
  • G-142 BPB ≤ 2.0 on Llama-1B BitNet
  • G-143 sparse-effective TOPS/W ≥ 9000
  • G-140 timing closure at 260 MHz post-route
  • No setup/hold violations on critical path
