KDE / qt6 with plasma integration fork.

Hi,

I started a fork to update this project to a modern KDE environment: https://github.com/gbin/Projecteur-kde

qt5 and x11 support has been removed, the UI has been integrated to a plasma applet, the interference with the shaking cursor feature has been removed, logitech spotlight 2 support has been added etc...

I am not sure if you are still actively maintaining this project so feel free to tell me if you prefer to have a split fork, upstream some of my updates or even transfert the project if you moved on to something else.

This is great 😃, I am happy that the project lives on, as I am not able to maintain it anymore.

I always wanted Projecteur to work at least on the major desktop environments (Gnome & KDE)
And one is definitely better than none as it is right now in the main project.

About fork, integrating or project transfer I need to sleep over it.

@gbin so there a basically two options that would work for me.

1. Give you admin rights on the existing repo
2. Transfer ownership, where GitHub would also set up redirects and also all history, stars and everything should be also fine

I guess the only thing that will not work anymore
Are the build jobs that pushed packages for all kind of different Linux distributions.

@jahnf probably 2 is the way so you don't get bothered, I'll figure out the packaging, are they downstreamed beside the 2 AUR packages in Arch? how can I PM you?

@gbin The easiest overview might be the one from Repology:

Note that the distros usually have existing dedicated maintainers, it might of course be helpful to notice them (direct mail or issue report) of the project change so they are aware and may also reconsider a potential removal now that Qt6 support is added 👍 .

So far, I think only Gentoo Linux has fully removed projecteur (as they were removing Qt5 completely), so there it might be useful to open a new bug report and ask for inclusion, or give a friendly heads-up in #219 which was created by the previous Gentoo package maintainer.
