Google Maps API V2 Issue

Hi,
I'm a seminarian from the diocese of Pittsburgh and was trying to adapt this app for our diocese. I am unable to get the Parish screen to show a google map, it only shows a gray grid. Through research it seems that it may be because the commands are not for the API 2 but are from 1. Are there any plans to update this app for the Google API 2?

I haven't worked on the Android version of the Catholic Diocese App for at least a few months, and I don't think I'll have time to look at this particular issue in the next few weeks; however, if someone else could take a look at getting it working correctly, I'd be happy to accept a pull request :)
