screencast not finding root #98

Computer OS and version (Mac,Win,Linux,...) :windows 7
Java version (java -version from command line) :latest
ADB version (adb version from command line) :latest
AndroidScreencast version :latest
What steps will reproduce the problem?

to see record button, pop up saying my phone isnt rooted
Please provide any additional information below.
i know my phone is rooted as other apps that require root work perfectly
