Key Features

Hi @mnriem, thank you again for reviewing and merging the preceding Cross-Platform Governance v0.2.2 update through #4078 and PR #4080.

This backward-compatible v0.4.2 update publishes the provider-neutral model-routing contract for composition with Model Routing Governance.

  • Updates the existing community-catalog entry from v0.4.1 without changing the preset ID, recommended priority 60, or authority boundaries.
  • Adds model-routing.json as the agent-parity-governance-model-routing template.
  • Maps speckit.specify, speckit.plan, and speckit.tasks to the logical frontier-reasoning role while keeping concrete provider model names machine-local.
  • Uses a fail-closed routing fallback and preserves model changes only at validated phase boundaries.
  • Preserves shared-guidance and generated-command parity, Level-0/1/2 fleet-completion evidence, intentional-deviation handling, audit-ready Spec Kit run evidence, and secret-free runner/status metadata.
  • Preserves authority boundaries: installation grants no repository, remote, merge, bypass, deployment, cancellation, secret, or provider-administration authority.
  • Provides 7 templates and 3 wrapped commands; no scripts or required extensions are introduced.
  • The implementation and review corrections were merged in the preset repository through PR doco(spec-driven): Fix small typo in spec-driven.md #4.
  • The exact v0.4.2 tag points to merge commit fe9e8e175c2974ca95a700cb70dfa82fc6b24cb0.
  • The GitHub tag ZIP installed successfully with Spec Kit 0.12.8 at priority 60, and specify preset resolve agent-parity-governance-model-routing resolved the published routing contract.
  • The downloaded release archive passed manifest, README, LICENSE, file-presence, and archive validation with observed SHA-256 ab4a1a6b40184e70ba2893f8e0c2ee6fdc19081c1993ff4a0dc8656afd8a86ac.
  • The tagged preset is byte-identical to the v0.4.2 copy used by the Home Baseline real-project preset matrix.

Maintainer feedback on the provider-neutral role contract, fail-closed fallback, and composition boundary with Model Routing Governance would be appreciated. The preset remains authority-neutral and backward compatible.

Testing Checklist

  • Template resolution works correctly after installation
  • Documentation is complete and accurate
  • Tested on at least one real project
