Unable to build and install

Hi, having the error when trying to build and install:

Go1.9 or later is available on the system.

dep package is available
gometalinter package is available

Installing vendored packages
unable to create lock pkg/dep/sm.lock: Lockfiles must be given as absolute path names

Any guidance on how to handle this?
