After a crash in Premiere Pro while using the Gyroflow plugin, Premiere suggested disabling the plugin on restart. Since then, the plugin no longer appears in the Effects Panel, even though it loads successfully according to the plugin loading log.
Steps to reproduce:
Crash occurred in Premiere Pro v25 while using Gyroflow on 12K RAW footage. I updated to Premiere Pro v26, where it does not appear.
Premiere suggested disabling the plugin on restart
Plugin no longer visible in Effects Panel after that
What I tried:
- Deleted plugin loading log and cache files
- Cleared Premiere preferences/cache
- Reinstalled plugin (stable 2.1.1 and nightly build)
- Manual installation of Gyroflow.plugin directly to MediaCore folder
Result: Plugin loading log confirms successful load, but plugin does not appear in the Effects Panel at all. The plugin works correctly in Premiere Pro v25 on the same machine.
Environment:
macOS
Adobe Premiere Pro v26
Gyroflow Plugin v2.1.1
Plugin location: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/7.0/MediaCore/Gyroflow.plugin
