I'm looking at ways to manage roles and permissions. It looks like it's possible with the builtin ACL abilities but some packages provide additional functionality and easy of use. These seem to be the most current recommendations:

Laravel-permission by Spatie
Bouncer by Joseph Silber

Does anyone have experience with either of these or another recommendation?
