Yes/no weighted based on karma #10

@edunham

Description

@edunham
me: !karma burritos
hamper: burritos has 4 points
me: !karma windows
hamper: windows has -6 points
me: hamper: burritos?
hamper: yeah, sure!
me: hamper: windows?
hamper: eww.

yesno should give affirmative responses when the query string has positive karma and negative responses when the karma is negative.

Optional: sum the karma of all substrings of the query, ie "window burritos" would have net -2 points and thus get a mildly negative response.

Optional: The enthusiasm of the response correlates to the amount of karma. Maybe a spectrum like:

  • ABSO-FREAKING-LUTELY!
  • THERE IS NO OTHER OPTION!
  • Heck Yes!
  • That'd be AWESOME!
  • Sounds good
  • Yeah, sure
  • I guess so
  • meh
  • nah, let's not
  • Please don't
  • Heck No!
  • Please, spare us, please don't, for the love of all that is binary
  • KILL IT WITH FIRE
