If you add a stop after a certain stop in the Routes page two times, it doesnt work.
The problem seems to be about refreshing that page when you do them sequentially, it doesn't see where the last added stop is, so it just adds after the last known stable location.
You can replicate this by adding two new stops in Stops page and appending them to the end of a loop one after another.
