Failed to create extension`uuid-ossp`

When trying to run:

create extension if not exists "uuid-ossp";

it fails with

error: could not open extension control file "/usr/share/postgresql/extension/uuid-ossp.control": No such file or directory
    at <anonymous> (/Users/scott/project/node_modules/pg/lib/client.js:526:17)

Is this meant to be supported? Or is there a specific process to get extensions working?

+1. If this is fixed then it could unblock using this product as the postgresql server that the emulator for https://firebase.google.com/docs/data-connect talks to.

Here is a work around found by claude which I verified works

⏺ Yes — pgmock has runShellCommand() which executes in the WASM VM. We can create fake uuid-ossp extension files on the filesystem so CREATE EXTENSION IF NOT EXISTS "uuid-ossp" succeeds natively

The control file just needs to not reference module_pathname (the .so), and the SQL script just defines uuid_generate_v4() using the built-in gen_random_uuid():
