Show user, that the chart has the drag and drop functionality

In our project, a lot of users don't understand, that they can drag and drop the points. Is it possible to show a drag and drop animation a few seconds, when the chart is shown? An alternativ could be to add arrows to the points. Any ideas? Thanks!

You could also add a text info like "you can drag and drop points to change their values". There are many possible solution.

What kind of animation you have in mind? You could animate point's value change, but it will only show moving points and not drag and drop feature.

Where would the arrows be placed? You could add annotations: https://www.highcharts.com/docs/advanced-chart-features/annotations-module
