As I am taking the content from an online site I have offline I thought of some options.
Use Duplicator.
Or find a good way to export various content from the site. It made me think of your plugin again.
I went into Add New Plugin screen and searched for export. There are a lot of various content one can export through various plugins.
- Pages, posts, custom post types.
- Categories and tags
- User Profile
- Comments
- All Media (as here one could also just select to export all the media)
- Plugins (and what they add be it a event plugin or a form content)
- Widgets
- Customizer settings
and likely even more content.
On the flipside how would we go about importing the above content.......?
How is the progress going with your plugin?
Do you have a timeframe to when you will like to add the export of all media?
I tested your plugin and it worked fine. I now just need to download the media .
