Asynchronous Queue worker

The current queue worker works in a synchronous way, it needs to be improved in such a way to support asynchronous execution.

Seemed to be an easy task but it's turning out to be not as easy, issues with PDO, I might opt for specific db-extensions for it to work as expected (mostly on ubuntu/mac)

I'm happy to share that we're close to making it work without using specific db-extensions.
