Process Semantics (2.1.1) could benefit from more illustrative examples of the concepts it introduces

I feel that 2.1.1 can benefit from having examples (or references to the implementation of the concept in question) in relation to the concept it introduces. Handling process state, for example, references only 2.6, which outlines the vfs structure, not how really process state is handled. The overall chapter can benefit from more examples on almost all of the things introduced.
