What problem are you trying to solve?

App is great, but I'm keen to understand the focus and roadmap. I have a number of functions I'd like to implement, but also noting you have work to do, keen to contribute what I can but also if I need to fork to my own I will as well.

Proposed solution

Please provide any planned roadmaps.

My future plans / ideas are:

• Abstract syncing from GitHub so future providers can be implemented (other git, but also other syncing providers)
• Ability to also use API keys and have the agent work directly in the app - Use case is on a non controlled computer, using the web app. You could also directly then hook this into say, Hermes or OpenClaw, which support using API to then interact with those models.
• Notion database type functionality where a folder can be deemed to be a database, with items underneath - Can be leveraged for things like Kanban, etc...

My use case is essentially a one stop shop for a) memory for my AI models, and b) also writing my own knowledge. Right now this is Notion for me, but it's not great.

Re:

• GitHub: yes, our plan is to implement a CRDT-based solution, similar to what already exists locally but for a real-time human-to-human solution. Is that what you had in mind, or something else?
• Do you mean exposing the CRUD functionality over an over-the-network API, or building in an AI chat directly onto the app? We're working on the latter, was the top request on the HN launch.
• We're definitely looking at what the right Obsedian Base // Notion database "equivalent" should be. We're exploring ideas here, meta-goal is that it's easily accessible to a local agent, similar to how the markdown is easily accessible to a local agent who's not familiar with OpenKnowledge lingo. Debating whether this should be structured schematized folders (potentially OKF format) or e.g. SQLite DBs with an auto-gen INDEX.md or something. Did you have thoughts?

Github: I'm actually interested beyond git, using things like iCloud.
AI chat, absolutely, with tools built in too
I think structured folders is where I was going, so define a database folder, with metadata, that folder hthn implements a database so you can do say Kanban, but also thinks like Recipe DB's or CRM.
