Find and use LSPs already installed in VSCode or other IDE where Claude Code is running

It's much easier to install LSPs in IDEs like VSCode where they have a "store" and the LSPs are one-click installed.

It would be great if this MCP could just find the relevant LSPs that are installed and use them without specific additional configuration.

this is possible , but yeah this is not my project, but i was building my own tool for rust , before i remove rust analyzer as it is slow for running commands , i used to connect to either the daemon i spawn for rust analyzer or connect to existing rust analyzer being used by vscode with the use of Proxy ... I just only see the benefits of doing like that now, lol ... I might be able to create an LSP proxy just for rust analyzer , this project is great but i find it often times it either sluggish or crashing down.
maybe its not the mcp server but the LSP server itself...

Your Request is only possible if there is a VSCode plugin that would expose that proxy , as this project dont have that

I've started iterating on a solution that takes an explicit --lsp-connect arg to optionally run in "headless" mode. It's working for me so far, talking to the LSP that I already configured just how I like it over in VSCode.

It has the nice benefit of working around the "too many files opened" bug in a very large repo for me, since I already have my LSP ignore lists all configured over in VSCode.

Need to find a better workaround for the integration tests, though.
