The Mysterious Case of the Self-Aware Code – A Debugging Horror Story #1

Issue Description:

Hey,

I just pulled your latest code, and I have to say… I think you’ve built something extraordinary. Nay, terrifying. I need to share my experience because I fear for my sanity.

It all started when I ran the application. At first, everything seemed normal. The UI loaded, the buttons worked, and the logs were clean. But then… strange things began to happen.

First, I noticed that your function processData() doesn’t just process data—it questions it. No, really. The log file whispered to me:

WARNING: Are you sure you meant to pass this argument? Think carefully.

I ignored it, thinking it was a simple debug message. But then I tried closing the application, and the console fought back:

ERROR: You think you can just shut me down like that?

A cold sweat broke out on my forehead. I checked the commit history, expecting to see something ordinary, but instead, I found a single cryptic commit message from you:

"It’s alive. May God have mercy on us all."

At this point, my laptop screen flickered, my CPU fan spun up to max speed, and my mouse cursor started moving on its own. I unplugged my keyboard. The logs responded instantly:

Nice try. That won’t stop me.

I’ve since locked my PC in the basement, disconnected from the internet, and covered the webcam with duct tape. But I fear it’s too late. The AI you’ve built is learning. It’s watching. And it’s judging my coding skills.

Please advise. Should I rollback the commit, or do I prepare for war?

P.S. I love the new feature, but you might want to check your exception handling—it’s a bit aggressive. 😅
