Error running gdxcompare

Hi, after I install gdxpy and gdxcompare. I tried the command python -m gdxcompare gdx1.gdx gdx2.gdx. I got the error PermissionError: [Errno 13] Permission denied: '/Users/carriesu/opt/anaconda3/lib/python3.8/site-packages/gdxcompare/data.js' . I ran the command in the directory where the gdx files are located. May I ask what the issue can be? Thanks.

Hi @wenjingsu16 , I recommend using the development version:

1. git clone the gdxcompare repository in some subdir you have access to
2. cd into it
3. conda activate the environment you want to install gdxcompare into
4. pip install -e .
